My roots get really greasy after about 24 hours, and using this first thing in the morning not only prevents that but is also helpful for styling, almost like a light hairspray (for me). Other cheaper dry shampoos I've used cement my hair in a painful cowlick after a couple of uses because they dry it out so much. This hasn't dried my hair out at all, just makes it feel clean and manageable. It also smells nice and blends really well.
