This makes it very easy if you have a phobia of needles. Place it on the skin and push the button, the hard part is over. You then inject the medicine yourself then remove the needle, it remains inside the injector until you remove it. I have used mine for over a year now and it still works great. It does not have an excessive spring tension when it injects the needle, it's the perfect amount of tension to get the needle through the skin. It makes it painless, you cannot see the needle going in. I don't like needles, sticking myself is not something I can do without a great deal of anxiety.
