It took two people to get them in the right place because it required putting pressure to get the holes lined up. It sits comfortably. I'm 5'2" and the top of the seat is right at the lower part of the back of my head. Perfect fit for someone my height. I think the seat could use a little more padding/cushion but so far it's a great chair.
