This device is designed to extract audio signals from the HDMI eARC/ARC port on your TV and convert to different audio signal output such as optics, stereo RCA R/L, 3.5mm headphones, audio, etc. This allows you to connect a TV with HDMI eARC/ARC port to various types of sound systems, allowing you to enjoy better audio quality while watching TV. This eARC audio converter is also compatible with TV with ARC function.

Review: It truely works. It bridges e-arc even to systems as close sourced as Bose lifestyles. - Ok, here is my 2 cents. I have a Bose V35 system and I really enjoy it. I know that out of all the home theater systems Bose is the not an open source and improvements and updates are not available pr rare. It's a damn time capsule, one I payed good money for and unless it dies on me, its staying where it is. With an optical cable to my TV my 5.1 experience was just OK. This seemed like a good affordable gamble on improving my listening experience accessing e-arc. Nothing else seemed possible. To my surprise my center & surround speakers have improved and make my viewing more emmersive. Downside, to now access my V35 console I have to disconnect the box and return to optical mode. I know the Bose limitations and a regular AV perhaps would make it easier. All I wanted was better sound and I got it. I'm not upgrading my system so is is as good as it is going to get.

- When the 2.0 indicator light is on, the audio signal output from the TV is PCM stereo, HDMI interface, fiber optic interface, RCA interface and 3.5mm interface all output stereo audio
- When the 5.1 indicator light is on, the audio signal output from the TV will output 5.1 channels (such as DTS, AC3), HDMI interface and fiber optic interface output 5.1 channels audio, which indicates that RCA interface and 3.5mm interface do not have audio output
- If you use RCA or 3.5mm, please set your TV to PCM output. If the 5.1 indicator light or HD5.1/HD7.1 indicator light is on, there is no audio output from RCA, 3.5mm interface
