These picks have a little bit of plastic tag holding them closed. Use a knife and gentle separate the tag. Boil water and stand the picks up so you can grip the tips. 1 or 2 at a time. Once water boils turn off. After a few seconds remove pick and wrap around finger. Hold to cool. Repeat for each one' on all Fingers. Remember all the fingers are not the same. You might want to mark each one on the inside for each finger with a marker. The several complaints about being too small are just because it's the 1st time using them and don't know how to fit them. You don’t want to heat the plectrum part. Once the water is boiling, set it to the side and standup each pick in the water with the plectrum sticking up in the ring submerged. Allow the material to heat and then take them out and shape them to fit your finger comfortably. I said a coffee mug with ice water to the side so that when I’m happy with my sizing, I merely dip the fingers into the ice water to cool the material. These are a good value for money and are durable. They will last you quite a while unless you abuse them.
