Loved it, yes is dry but I prefer the consistency and easy to peel off factor, worth it if you like pepper and harder texture in your jerky, it comes really full compared to other reviews, it’s sure to last me a week as a snack

My husband's favorite jerky. It has a nice amount of spice from coarse ground black pepper, but is not too hot. He says the flavor is nice and smokey and the jerky has the perfect amount of "chew" to it!

High quality, great flavor, natural cut, tender. Peppered is the best.

I was recommended this from a coworker at work and to say I became addicted is quite an understatement. I love the tenderness of the meat while having such good flavor, the pepper definitely gives a little kick to the aftertaste but it is still amazing, nonetheless. I only give it 4 stars because the bag really doesn't come with much in it, I wish it came with more in the bag.

Old Trapper never disappoints. This peppered beef jerky is awesome—high quality, great texture, and packed with flavor. I also really like their hot & spicy version, but the peppered one hits that perfect balance of savory and bold without being overwhelming. I know some people worry about ordering jerky online because you can’t pick out the bag yourself like you can at the store, but honestly, Amazon makes it way too convenient. It shows up at your door, fresh, sealed, and consistent every time. The price is great, the quality is great, and I have zero complaints. I’ll definitely keep ordering it. My only “problem” is the salt content—high blood pressure means I should behave, but I love beef jerky too much and this stuff is worth it. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s genuinely great jerky.

Hands down, the best brand of jerky I have ever had. I can't afford it too often, especially since half the time I eat the whole bag in one day, but it is so so soooo good. This one and the original are my families go-to and I can't recommend them enough!
