**Q: How long do you leave the water in before it becomes copper infused?**
A: We don't recommend leaving water in a copper water bottle more than 8 hours - Also, ensure you are only allowed to use plain room temp/cold water with the bottle.

**Q: is the copper water bottle suitable for carrying hot water?**
A: Hi.
No it's not. The bottle is single walled which means the outside will get just as hot as the inside.

**Q: I received one of these today for Christmas. There is a patch of black inside. I expect this to happen over time but is it also normal when brand new?**

No it should not have any dark spots inside it upon unpacking it. Those will appear over time as you said.

Beautifully made. Oozes quality inside and out. Tried a cheaper brand, but just turned out to be a knockoff and was probably made with an inappropriate type of copper alloy. But could do with more robust packaging. My bottle arrived with one corner caved in. Fortunately the bottle inside was undamaged. But only by luck.
