Resmed AirFit F40 Replacement Frame System (Without Headgear) - Medium

I have tried many different masks and this is the best fit for me. I am able to sleep on my side without any leaks. For is more comfortable and I don’t feel claustrophobic wearing it. I have had good stats in sleeping through the night wearing this mask.

De las mejores mascaras para CPAP que he usado, muy ligera, suave y cómoda (vs F30i), no se siente el flujo de aire en frente de la cara. Le pongo 4 estrellas ya que a pesar de ser un producto original de ResMed, tamaño correcto de la mascara, el soporte de la cabeza viene de tamaño grande, muy grande, que al principio puedes ajustar al limite, pero creo que con el uso y lavadas, seguramente cederá y al corto plazo va a ser necesario reemplazarlo.

I've been using the F20 mask but have many problems with it. It leaks, blows are out the front and gives me high AHI scores. It also gave me very dry mouth. ChatGPT recommended I try this mask, the air fit F40. I love it. It's comfortable. I can wear my glasses while wearing it. No dry mouth. No leaks. No blowing air. AHI score is now 1-2. With the F20 my score was 8-10. I'm very happy with it. I did adjust the pressure to 15 max. The manufacturer recommends using the pillow setting for mask type even though it's a semi full face mask. Note-it states it does not include head gear, but it does.

Very soft. Took me a few nights to get used to this mask. I used the full face mask for 16 years. This one allows my nose to heal and not be red. I am a mouth breather so under the nose part is great for that. Will be buying this from now on. I may try the large size at a later date. Under my nose is a bit sore but not bad and no red marks like the full face mask.
