Great buy!
Powerful tool for any type of music producer. Build quality isn't great but the actual cost is around $100. If you order from India you will end up paying double for the same.

The keys are a let-down....otherwise great.
A great gadget for anyone wanting a low priced Ableton Live/MIDI controller. Plug and play no problem with Windows 8. Does everything the reviews claim. Compared to my Oxygen8 v2 though (which no longer works with Windows 8 - thanks Microsoft!) it feels a bit like a toy; everything is small. The dials are short without any textured grip and are a smidgen tight (in comparison). The 25 keys are noticeably smaller if you are used to full sized, the white ones measuring 8 cm by almost 2cm. When pressed, the resistance gives them a springy feel, demanding a little pressure to hold them to their shallow base. If this is your first controller you'll love it. For experienced controller types you'd be buying it because of its Live mapping, compact form and portability.

Good experience so far
Only complaint I have is the keys feel a little unresponsive at times and are a touch on the firm side.

Tja.... Supter Spielzeug. Sehr kompakt, Viele Knöpfe zum selberbelegen (auch unter FL-Studio ein Genuss bei erbrachter Konfiguration, die learn-Funktion und die Channels sind dein Freund) Anschlagdynamik ist optimal, von den LEDs hab ihc unter FL zwar nix, aber was solls. Die Potys sind auch sauber, also für den Preis kriegt man kaum was besseres.. (finde ich) Reiht sich prima bei den anderen Boards ein, ich nehms aber auch gerne zu Kumpels mit. Alles Plastik, dafür schön leicht und immer noch sehr zufrieden. Hätte mir fast n zweites geholt, um n paar Instrumente gleichzeitig zu spielen.

A challenge for beginners
Trying to learn Ableton Live-Lite and the AKAI Controller at the same time was a lot to learn at once. The Controller is well made with tons of features. A very good purchase at this price. Poor keyboard, Keys too small and only 25 of them. Had to go to YouTube for help.

１９９０年台後半ににDTMにハマってました。 昔は２０万円以上するMIDI音源や、数万円のシーケンスソフトが必要でしたが、 今は、１万程度の本製品とラップトップPCさえあれば、 なんでもできるDTM環境が手に入ると知りびっくりしました。 本製品バンドルのAbleton Live Liteは８トラックｘ８クリップに機能制限された簡易版ですが、 なんちゃってDTM/DAWを体験したかった自分には十分です。 本APC Key25では、８トラックｘ５クリップ分のボタンが装備されているので、 そもそも、上記８トラックｘ８クリップくらいが切り替えがほぼ必要なくなるため 楽ちんと思います。 LaunchPadに対する本製品の利点は、launchpadで出できることはすべて（launchpad proは除く）出来るうえベロシティ対応鍵盤とノブが付いてる点です。 ほぼ全部入りなのに膝に乗ります。 コルグのnanokey studioのような簡単演奏機能が付いていれば完璧だったのすが。。（liveのアルペジエータやスケール機能等で多少代用できるけど） 追記 今製品で鍵盤使うならPCの反応速度を改善するために、オーディオインターフェイスというものも必要になりあとから買いました。最高のおもちゃになりました。

Don't waste your time on this one.
It's not like expected, works only with abelton and not with other brands. No downloads included! Only abelton. Akai website works poorly and lots of missing information about downloads.
