Can it be used on virgin hair?** A: It can be for color treated or damaged hair. You could use it on virgin hair. I liked the smell of this shampoo but using both the shampoo and conditioner did not help my dry hair. I do have graying hair though. TOKYO I thought I would give the shampoo and conditioner a try. I was not disappointed! I love its clean, bamboo scent and how hydrating it is. The bottle is a fun shape and larger than I expected! I love that it has a pump for precise and convenient application. However, $15 is a bit of a steep price point but at least it works!! No residue and I haven't had any dandruff while using this product. My hair feels clean without feeling striped or dried out! I'm glad I gave it a try! I wish it was more color safe, however, it preserves color more than other shampoos!
