## Description

Product description The new DXT 2 vertical mouse is a compact ergonomic mouse which has been expertly designed by a team of leading UK physiotherapists and ergonomists. The DXT 2 promotes a neutral (more vertical) wrist posture while allowing the hand to work with a light touch fingertip hold providing precision cursor control. The ambidextrous shape of the DXT2 allows for either right or left handed use. Choose the standard USB model or the new RF Wireless model with extended battery life and rapid charge system. Conventional flat mice put unnecessary strain on your hands, arms, and fingers Forearm Pronation A conventional flat mouse forces the user to twist their hand palm-down and parallel to the work surface resulting in forearm pronation. Forearm pronation requires a “static load” which has been shown to cause muscle strains. Pronation can cause pain in the forearm and elbow which can lead to serious injuries. Static Grip Force A conventional flat mouse requires a “static grip force” which engages the power-producing “extrinsic” flexor and extensor muscles of the forearm (aka “pinch grip” or “death grip”). This static grip occurs when the user is moving the mouse, and also when the mouse is at rest. This unnecessary force results in a static load which can cause pain to radiate up the hand, wrist, and arm and can lead to repetitive strain injuries. Wrist Extension Many conventional flat mice cause the wrist to make contact with the work surface causing it to bend upward. Wrist extension creates static muscle tension, reduces blood flow, and puts pressure on the median nerve which can lead to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Shoulder/Neck Isolation Most conventional flat mice fill the whole hand. “Whole-hand” mice force movement and cursor control up to the shoulder which is designed for large power movements, not the precison control that mousing requires. Forcing and isolating movement to the shoulder can lead to both neck and shoulder tension. The DXT2 ergonomic mouse was specifically engineered to solve these problems with its unique vertical shape and fingertip grip The DXT’s semi-vertical design allows the mouse to be held from a more natural and “functionally neutral” position with the hand gently resting on its side at an angle of 50˚ to 70˚. Studies show that most comfortable position for mouse operation is when the thumb is higher than the little finger (anywhere between 10˚ and 90˚of rotation). The DXT mouse does not encourage static gripping or “pinch grip” by utilizing the low power producing instrinsic muscles of the hand and creating accuracy through fluid, dynamic movement. Furthermore, excessive gripping is not even allowed due to the DXT’s ultra light button click force of 50 grams which allow users to hold and operate with a feather-light touch from a fully relaxed hand and finger position. The DXT’s semi-vertical design eliminates all wrist surface contact which allows a more natural and intuitive wrist posture for relaxed and precise control. The smaller DXT mouse spreads the load of moving the mouse throughout the entire arm and hand, reducing stress on the shoulder and neck allowing the hand, elbow and shoulder to work in synergy. No part of the limb is completely isolated. Choose the DXT2 Wireless for CONVENIENCE and PORTABILITY Connect the compact RF dongle to an available USB port on your computer for quick and easy pairing. The integrated, rechargeable lithium-ion is engineered to last for 2 weeks on a full charge, and the rapid charge system allows 2+ hours of use with a mere 30 seconds of charging. Choose the DXT 2 Wired for VALUE AND RELIABILITY Convenient USB wired connection for maximum reliability 6ft USB cable Make the DXT part of your ergonomic workspace The Leaders in Computer Ergonomics Kinesis Corporation was founded in 1991 with the objective of developing the first computer keyboard optimized for comfort and productivity. Review: Love this mouse! - I am loving this new mouse. The learning/ adjustment curve isn't bad at all. I had a sprained wrist with probably a mix of tendinitis. This is definitely helping. It's not a miracle worker but it's definitely helping me recover from the pain and within the next few weeks I'm sure I'll be back to 100%. I think the only thing that throws me off is that the mouse will automatically shut itself off to conserve battery so when i pause for too long I'll have to click on the mouse and risk clicking on something while re-activating it. I was a bit apprehensive about spending 100 bucks on a mouse but honestly with the amount of time I spend working on the computer it is a small investment to secure my own health and my tools. Comes with a cable to recharge the internal battery and a pouch to carry the mouse in. Very precise. I do a lot of photoshop and video editing also and I have had no issue on response or precision. I have large hands, I can palm a basketball and I have no problem in comfortably grasping this. Size wise I would compare it to a little bit bigger than a standard travel mouse but smaller than a regular mouse. I still use a wrist pad with it just to help recover from this injury but I feel it works just as good with out it. Very ergonomic shape. It lets you use your wrist at a proper angle. Be wary of those bigger ergonomic mice as they force you to use your shoulder more than your wrist which sounds good at first but you risk even more injury. I am flirting with the idea of trying to switch hands with it but I dont have time to learn to be ambidextrous
Review: Best Mouse Ever (and I was skeptical) - Wasn't sure if I'd like this mouse at first, but now its simply the best mouse I've ever used. It feels natural, like writing with a pen, so your mousing is very comfortable and precise. Took about an hour to get used to the DXT mouse. At first it felt different, and I was skeptical. But after an hour I just about forgot I was using a mouse! It was that comfortable. I've been using it for two months now, and don't plan on looking back. Battery life lasts about a month for me with lots of use, and a light will let you know when it gets low to recharge it. Takes 2 hours for a full charge and you can use it while charging it with the cable. Originally I wished it had replaceable batteries, but now I don't mind. Prior to using this mouse, I had been using the Logitech M705 for many years (my favorite 'standard mouse'). After repeatedly suffering from carpel tunnel, I started looking for something better. I tried several other ergonomic mice including the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse, and the Anker Vertical Mouse. But both were worse than the Logitech M705. A good mouse should keep your thumb and index finger close together, and be small enough to let your fingers do precise movements without entirely relying on arm movements. The Microsoft and Anker mice failed on these 2 important points, even for my larger than average male hands. The Anker also had stiff buttons, which is not good for carpel tunnel.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great ergonomic and compact upright mouse.
*by D***3 on April 11, 2026*

I love this mouse. Ergonomically, it's the most comfortable for me. I also like that it is small enough to easily carry around. Although I wish there was a design to fold it down and make it more compact. I just purchased my 4th DXT2. Life span for me has been about 3 years. The track wheel is typically what goes first, the control and direction goes squirrelly. Other mouse devices last a lot longer, at cheaper price, but DXT2 still provides value to me as a carry everywhere, use everyday mouse. I've looked for others, but there are really none similar in design and size.
