Worked great and seems durable. Even as a novice, I was able to get a very nice, smooth level 5 finish in my ceiling after I removed my popcorn texture. It is light enough to make using easy, stiff enough not to flex, and scraped a nice, thin layer of wetted mud without a problem.

24” is incredible. I am lousy at drywall and yet a perfectionist- a bad combo normally. Having a skimming blade like this makes lousy work look so good! Doing wall corners and ceiling corners and even skimming the ceiling was actually so much fun because it looked so straight! I have redone all the drywall in two bathrooms and took the popcorn ceiling off and skimmed all my ceilings. I only purchased this for my last bathroom- what a mistake- i wish i had this from the start. It would have saved ai much time and effort! So much less to sand - so much straighter - so much faster.

It makes doing level 5 alit easier and faster is a great tool

As an avid DIYer this set worked well for skim coating. I found the skimming blades much easier to control than a normal wide drywall knife. I used the set for taping and skim coating. You will need to thin the mud as these blades are thin and flexible. For skimming I thinned USG Plus 3 drywall mud to the consistency of yogurt. Then rolled on an even coat using a 1 1/4" nap roller followed by leveling with the widest skimming blade. 4 stars as these are not the highest quality with plastic frames. Two of the black plastic end caps were broken in shipment. This does not impact performance. For limited DIY use I would recommend the product.
