Best applied over primed skin. Review: I first heard about this foundation because Kourtney Kardashian uses it. This foundation is so lightweight and has great buildable coverage. It doesn’t break me out or clog my pores at all. I love how it makes my skin still look like skin but better! I purchased the taupe shade first and it matched my skin PERFECTLY. I decided to go ahead and order another one in the next shade up (walnut) for when i’m spray tanned. However, walnut is like 3 shades darker than taupe so I can’t use it on it’s own and I have to mix them together to get a color in between. I hope they expand their shade range because they skipped a bunch of shades in between. I have oily skin and still find that it wears nicely as long as I lightly set it with a very small amount of powder. I like the Honest Brand translucent power, I highly suggest it if you’re on the “clean beauty” wave such as myself. Their cream blushes also last so long on top of this foundation. I feel like $66 is a little steep considering how limited the shade range is. Like myself, some people may need two shades to create their own and $132 on foundation probably isn’t practical. I’m happy with the size of the product, 1fl oz is basically the standard for foundations so i’m glad they didn’t skimp on that. I haven’t had an issue with the pump on either of my foundations yet, I will update this review if i do.
