My son was in an accident at 45mph and slid 100ft across the pavement, over a curb, through iceplant and crashed into a light pole - not one scratch on him. The jacket did not rip or tear and he was saved from painful road rash.Safety gear is a must-have. These run HUGE , I don’t care what the other reviews say. This medium is advertised to fit a 38-40 , but could VERY VERY easily fit a 42-44. Without a doubt. With two layers underneath this I can see how it might fit. But unless you planning on battling the Arctic’s , go down a size. Seller says the small and mediums run big , probably the large as well.
