**Q: What is the diameter of this clamp?**
A: My seat post is 27.2mm and it fitted easily.  It does seem that it will fit different size posts without trouble.

**Q: How do you attach this to the saddle rails? I've been trying to work it out for the past hour, is it really a case of forcing the middle bit to bend?**
A: I found taking it apart and re-assembling it around the saddle rails worked for me. The bold has a square end that butts up against a round hole so it needs to be tightened a lot to grip.  That all said,  it has been on for 4 months now and has not budged a mm.
