I have bought five of these boxes over the past couple of years to stick Raspberry Pi Zero Wireless single board computers in with cameras for outside remote security cams. I have had no issues with leaks and the front is clear and I haven’t had any issues other than glare when the sun is very low on the horizon. They are perfect for this. I do add tape around the edges as extra protection but I don’t think it really is needed but I do it just to be safe. I drill a small hole to run the power through and seal it up as well as possible. These boxes have survived through many days of constant rain, snow storms that have covered over them and yet protected the equipment inside. I intend to get more in the future. They are a great deal for the price and also come with spare screws. Highly recommend.

I used this to protect a small wireless screen I needed mounted outside and under my RV. I used double sticky foam tape on the inside to cushion and make sure things didn't bounce around. So far the box is holding up well for a cheapy. I wouldn't trust it in the weather forever without first treating it with 303 protectant or armor all or something as I think the sunlight will play havoc on it. I sealed up around the edges with silicone and it hasn't leaked a drop. I drilled a hole in the back to pass the wires through and used a rubber gromet and more silicone to seal up that part and it worked. Overall, this is the best bang for your buck at this price level. I really like this enclosure box. I'm using it to add a digital temperature fan controller, and a voltage gauge to my mini excavator. I used some calipers to measure the inside of the box, and drew up an insert in Fusion to slide within that I 3D printed out of black PETG. It fit perfect and allowed me to mount both components with ease. If you need a basic electrical project box, and your components will fit within, this is one to give consideration to.

this is a good size for small projects. i had to drill holes for a switch and waterproof fittings and had no problems with the plastic cracking. the lid gasket appears to work well so the box should be reasonably rainproof.

I used this enclosure to build a 4:1 Unun for my Rybakov vertical antenna knowing full well that it would be drenched every day during the summer by my sprinkler system. In spite of being within soaking distance of my irrigation system every day for three months straight, the interior remained dry as a bone and my station SWR never wavered. It's a great project box for my purposes and I can recommend it to others.

I'm using these to build an antenna matching system for amateur radio. They will live outdoors in the elements and need to keep the electronics inside dry. The cases are sturdy and support the connections well. I have purchased these a couple times now.

Great box for your Choke Balun Unun or Transformer, don't forget your waterproof vents!

The cover was a bit "scratched" but in conclusion the product is good, I am satisfied.

This box is perfect for what I needed it for. I used it to house all the motor drive electronics for a custom lathe project I’ve been working on. The plastic is sturdy, and the clear lid makes it easy to see everything inside without opening it. It was also really easy to cut a vent hole for airflow. Plus, the dust-proof design helps keep everything clean and protected. Overall, it worked out great for my project.
