Review: Best $10 I’ve Spent. Great for Iced Coffee - I didn’t have an ice maker, and I really love to make iced coffees at home. After previously buying and trying the ‘DAYHAP Ice Cube Tray With Lid’ for a while, I found I was not only disappointed with the amount of ice you get after waiting so long for it to freeze over, but also got pretty tired pretty quick of just how hard I had to press down on the lid to get the cubes to pop out. So, naturally, I hop on desertcart and find this one. Not only do I love the spherical shapes, but it’s EASY and stress free to make them! No more pushing down with all my might on a lid only for ice cubes to STILL not drop down into the bin. I was a little wary to buy this after some reviewers claimed that the trays snapped (one even claimed it ‘exploded’) and that it was poorly made, but I thought it’s only $10, not like I’m gonna be out anything. Pros: - This thing is awesome. The amount of ice you get with one fill of each tray is more than enough for multiple drinks. No more taking time to fill them up every 1-2 days for me! - The spheres come out looking good every single time so long as you take care to fill each tray as much as it will go and then press all the way down on the top tray. - It does not explode. - The trays are actually quite bendy and if need be you can twist them a bit to get the ice balls to pop out. I’ve been using this thing for months now and I haven’t seen a single crack in the plastic yet. Cons: - The scoop they provide is a clear frosted color, and it’s really easy to loose track of because it blends right in with the ice. Would be nice if they made the scoop a more obvious, easy-to-find color, but it’s really not a big deal to begin with. Overall I’d say a great pick for those who don’t have ice makers in their fridges and don’t have the counter space for a stationary ice maker. I absolutely love mine and even though I’ve since gotten fridge that does have an ice maker, I would absolutely buy this thing again just for the mere convenience of only having to take the time to fill it up maybe once a week if that.

While they’re not 100% perfect all the time (which they don’t have to be for what I’m using them for) they’re really convenient. I have 2 water bottles and I get more than enough ice than the traditional trays, since this comes with 2 trays + a container. The material is more of a sturdy plastic, but it’s not at all difficult to remove the ice balls from them. You just have to gently twist it. Other reviews say that it “breaks easily” because they’re doing it wrong. There’s also instructions on how to use them which helps with how to get cute ice spheres. I was lowkey skeptical bc of the mixed reviews but it genuinely is a great product imo! :)

I didn’t have an ice maker, and I really love to make iced coffees at home. I bought this bc I wanted ice that could fit my refillable water bottles and not take too much space. This works perfectly! In love with these ice cubes. Makes perfect solid balls of ice, stay frozen for awhile in your drink. Easy to use, fill and get out of container, great deal and it comes with a container to put the ice in! Doesnt take up much room amd stacks on top of each other. Great quality tray. Bought a little ice scoop at the dollar store. Everyone loves them.
