It is not removable but, if it bothers someone, they could probably color over the letters with a black Sharpie. **Q: Can this harness be used with a safety restraint in a car?** A: I would think the ring on the back/top of the harness would be best. If the dog got thrown around with the safety on the FRONT, I think it would end up turning the dog and not holding him secure.
