When I got it into the water I felt like I was in a bathtub so I got rid of it and bought my Perception. When I first went out in my Rhythm I felt like I was in a REAL kayak. It smoothly cut through the water so paddling was easy. It was the perfect length and width for me. I'm a 70 yo female 5'6" 160 and it's light enough for me to load by myself and solid enough to feel stable. I love this kayak and so does my little Maltipoo Popcorn.
