Review: BEST PLUSHIE EVER!! :D - this is one of the best plushies I have! the legs are floppy but stiffer than other 16 inch douglas dogs, making it a great walker! the brown fur is soft, but the black fur is a bit scratchy and plasticy. it is pretty big compared to my 12 inch august golden retriever, but still small enough to fit in a bag or large purse. this is a great essa! (emotional support stuffed animal) when you take it out of the package, a large amount of shedding is normal, so brush it daily with a pet brush to minimize the shedding and prevent matting. btw the plushie doesn't come with any gear or customization, so if you want gear, buy sizes xs or xxs depending on the product. also use acrylic or alcohol markers to customize. overall, this plushie is really cute and is a great essa! (I already said what it stands for :D) I really enjoy this plushie and I will probably be back for another douglas! (btw if you cant find a name for it some ideas are sage, maple, honey, duke, fern, and whatever you think of :D)

**Q: Need this for a costume.  Is the ball shown stiched on, or does it detach?**
A: The Ball is just in the photo...  It does not come with the stuffed dog.   You will only receive the dog if you order this product.

**Q: Does ball come attached to dog? I don't want that.**
A: No the ball isn't attached to the dog so if you order the dog you get the dog and the dog only

**Q: Is the light color more blond, brown, or red?  I have a Golden/Shep mix and trying to see if this pup might be a good match.**
A: The light color is hard to describe but to me it is a warm gold color that matches our real life German Shepherd.

**Q: What is the overall size of this item?**
A: It has been a few months since I ordered it but if I remember correctly it was about 12 inches long and 9 to 10 inches tall.   I was very impressed with the size and quality of this item.

Definitely recommend! It makes a great ESSA (emotional support stuffed animal) I did do customization so I do have a before and after picture. It does not come with any accessories or gear, just the dog itself. It’s really floppy and perfect! The fur gets matted really easily so daily brushing is required! I named her Honey, I love her so much. Her walk is decent, not my best walker. Expect her to be the size of your hand. She is super soft, lightweight, and easy to carry!
