I initially bought a non-OEM belt (2 of them, actually). As one reviewer predicted, thye lasted one week. The John Deere OEM belts costa littl emore but are thicker and do not come off the pulleys. I don't know it it has anything to do with the angle or the depth but I have not experienced any issues.

Just what I ordered, worked like new

I put this on my Deere D130 and it made a strange noise at first. I wasn't sure if it was going to hold up because it sounds like it's rubbing. I've used it twice now and the sound seems to be dissipating. I hope it holds up. Previously, I had an aftermarket belt on but it seemed like it was never tight enough. I don't think the D130 has a way to adjust the tension.

My husband was thrilled when this John Deere original flat belt arrived and it fit perfectly. Buying belts and blades and other equipment for our 2 riding mowers can be troublesome where we live. Hard to find the John Deere mower belt and the cost is almost triple what we paid through Amazon and it was delivered in 2 days! Now we are checking out blades for our Cub Cadet riding mower as well

Highly recommend, this belt is Brilliant, I have learned my lesson not to but cheap alternatives because I tried that and the cheaper belt snapped after a week. The original John Deere part is far superior and has been on the mower for weeks now without any issues. You get what you pay for.
