Instead, this valve allowed me to make a simple vacuum bypass repair that only took a few minutes once I knew what needed to be done. The part was exactly as described, felt like good quality, and worked correctly for my application. After installing it with a new vacuum reservoir and vacuum hose, the A/C issue was fixed.Obviously, make sure this is the correct part for your specific diagnosis before throwing parts at the problem. But for my E350 vacuum-control A/C issue, this did exactly what I needed and saved me a lot of money compared with having a shop tear into the dash.Five stars because it was good quality, easy to use in my repair, and solved the problem.
