I ordered it in October. I received it in a few days as promised. It was in good condition outside (no dents or cracks). The manual is not easy to understand. There are no instructions on how to wire it to a (Red, Black and White 220 AMP wire). The colors are (blue, green/yellow and brown). My certified electrician had to look up the codes to match as the manual tell you nothing. It fit perfectly in my space and looked great. However, I did not like the clock on a 24 hour time. The manual did not give good instructions for cooking on the different settings. I used it mostly for convection bake and convection (did not know the difference). In about a week the unit started changing settings while cooking (it would go from convection bake to rotisserie or broil, etc in the middle of cooking). Then it would freeze and you could not get it do do anything when you pressed the buttons. I had to turn off the breaker at the box to reset it. After a few more times, I got an error code. There was nothing in the manual about it. I researched online and could not find anything. There was no contact for Empava in the manual. I emailed Amazon and they replaced it and sent me a new one a week later. I was without an oven for sometime. I was able to uninstall it and repack it, but had to have my electrician back out to install the new one. It was installed and in a few days started doing the same thing. By that point Empava saw my review on here and contacte me. They were so attentive and answered questions. They even sent an outline of how it should be wired. (too late at this point - why is that not in the shipping). Fortunately, my electrician hooked both of them up the correct way. It was odd that both ovens did the same thing and Empava said they had NEVER had that complaint or that trouble before. I called my electrician back out (3rd time) to check the amp, etc. Everything was correct from the breaker box and the amps. He suggested I send it back and pay $500 more to buy one at your local home improvement chain store that is American Made. I have nothing against foreign made products but had to listen to friends who laughed because I bought this lemon. Empava was very attentive and the agent emailed and called me several times and offered to replace it one more time (the first for them as Amazon did the first replacement.) It was then around Christmas and I asked to please ship it soon as I did not have an oven to cook with for Christmas. It was out during Thanksgiving the first time. It did not arrive until after Christmas. The electrician was on vacation and could not come out until after the first of the year. Then I had illness in my family and had to work around his schedule and my family. Empava called me and emailed me several times to see if this one was working. They said they tested it before they shipped it. Like I said, it worked for a weekish and then quit. They offered to send me a full refund if I would remove my review from the first one I purchased in October. I told them I was having trouble scheduling around my father's terminal illness and my electrician. They said when I took it down, they would send me a full refund. So, I took it down before the oven was installed. I emailed them to tell them and sent the address and copy of invoice to send refund. It has been two weeks and I have not heard from them. I emailed three times since then. They don't care now. I did get the oven installed this past Saturday and so far it is working (give it a week I guess). It was not that I wanted a refund, but after I totaled up what having the electrician come out 4 times, it was almost 3/4 cost of the oven not to mention going through two holidays without an oven. SUGGESTION: Do not buy this oven and risk what I have. Buy one from your local home improvement store that is American made. You will pay double, but the time, trouble and embarrasement is worth spending the extra money. ### ⭐ Glorified toaster oven *by F***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2019* Don't buy. The wire feeding electricity is extension cord wire. Not your normal 10 or 8 gauge wire. You'll have to figure out how to wire. Not made for USA usage. The instruction manual was translated to English from something else by a person who didn't have a clue of the English language. The instructions don't even begin to show you how this works. Don't be misled by the looks of this oven. If you don't want to be frustrated trying to figure out how this works don't buy. BEWARE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Responded and resolved problem with Hyaki oven. *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020* I like the product because of the convection oven and bake and many other features of the Hyaki oven. But we had the oven a little over a year and every time we broiled got a err01 code and kept beeping. Notified Empava and did help us fix problem for a couple months and then just never could use oven till we had new parts such as a temperature sensor. Anyway this happened 2 weeks before the pandemic shutdown and things seemed to have gotten dropped. I emailed them because getting closer to Easter and wanted to bake a ham. Empava did not send parts but, a whole new oven.
