It is so nice but it is not including rechargable battery which is required you to buy and then it costs more

This item is discontinued from the manufacturer but is still one of the best bluetooth speakers on the market. Plus there is no fear of a possible lithium battery explosion. This is also not the latest version of the speaker before it was discontinued. I have that latest version which has no old version iPod dock and I have this one. But the sound quality of both speakers is identical to my ears. You will probably need to purchase D cell recharge batteries if you use this unit outside often. I use rechargeable batteries and the speakers play for a very decent amount of time.

I have owned this for a while now and I still get surprised at the sound that comes from this alliteratively small speaker box. The Bluetooth connection could be a little better. I have found that it disconnects when I'm still relatively close but I'm guessing they have probably improved on that with the later models. (works great with an AUX cable) Oh and bummer it didn't come with batteries...

Love the sound and the volume. Had no issues picking up my blue tooth signal and was crystal clear. Great decision to buy the Beatbox. The only "small issue" I had is you will need to take the batteries out for it not to stay on and use up the batteries.
