It is snug and holds my ipad well. It has a magnetic closure. The only negative is that it doen;t have auto sleep/wake which is not a big deal.I did add some velcro as I have issue with this type of case. I just want to fold them over once but if you do that your ipad can flip down easily so I secured it with velcro. This is not an issue with this case, it's something that happens with this kind of case.
