Four Sigmatic Ground Mushroom Coffee,packaging may vary

Was absolutely loving my Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee with Lions Mane & Chaga.Unfortunately, the first delivery arrived with a small tear in the coffee bag. Disappointing, as I was looking forward to trying it and since this damaged packaging would likely have affected the taste of the coffee I chose to dispose of it on my compost heap.The damaged bag was swiftly refunded by Amazon. Waited another day for my replacent order to arrive. Having been a Lavazza or Illy coffee drinker for a number of years I did not expect this coffee with mushrooms to taste anywhere as good. Well what a surprise! Using an espresso machine it makes a fantastic coffee with a great crema, resembling a well poured pint of Guinness.Benefits of Lions Mane & Chaga, maybe too early to say after 4 coffees. Will update review if any noticeable effect is observed but rest assured there is no mushroom taste and I would definitely purchase again. 👍Have had this on subscribe & save but had to cancel due to the repeated problem with damaged bags. Some of the bags I purchased are "vacuum type sealed" IE. The bag comes as a firm block without any air in the packaging, but have now received multiple orders that are apparently damaged and air is present. Any coffee lover will know that exposure to air will cause the coffee to degrade and change the flavour. Disappointed at this price as I loved this coffee. Am now looking for an alternative to Four Sigmatic or maybe I just need to find an alternative supplier to Amazon that stores perishable goods correctly? 🤔

First of all, I'd like to say I'm no coffee expert but I do enjoy good quality coffee. I normally buy supermarket coffee which does the trick well enough, but I wanted to try something decent.I think this coffee comes in at a good price point, not as expensive due to it not being relentlessly advertised like some of the more familiar brands. It's also organic which is a big plus. I'm also happy to say I makes for a decent brew. Smells nice but not overpowering, very smooth and with a subtle after taste. I usually add two scoops to my small coffee press and I find that this is enough for my taste, I like it fairly strong. Not sure about the effects of the mushrooms added, jury is still out on that! I've been pleasantly surprised and will be buying again.

Best lions mane coffee in the market and I’ve tried many, I make my partner a cup every morning before work we’ve probably been drinking this brand for a couple of years you get more for your money than the sachet ones on here

The taste was surprisingly good - tastes like good, smooth, well-flavoured coffee. However, I bought it to try and reduce my caffeine intake which I then found out that it does not do at all - as the amount of caffeine/coffee per cup is the same as the norm. Therefore, I would not recommend it as I don't really see the point - unless the mushroom extract really is enough (in quantity of that) to give nutritional benefits from that - I don't know the answer to that as have just received mine so just had two cups so far.

This one tastes great. The effect is definitely a bit smoother than normal coffee. I actually felt a bit mellow for a few minutes, followed by a more controlled caffeine buzz. Don't bother with the instant coffee version though, it tastes awful.

tastes great but very expensive

This coffee was really nice, however for how much you get I think it was quite pricey. Also not sure that it does what it says in terms of the benefits from having it. I only bought one bag.

Très bon goût. On ne sent presque pas les champignons et le café est de très bonne qualité. Un peu cher mais bon.

Taste good but I don’t see any difference on my body

I really like this coffee. A lot of times mushroom tea or coffee is too earthy and weird, but this has the perfect balance and actually tastes more like coffee

Ich bestelle ihn nicht das erste und bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Geschmack; das Getränk schmeckt erstens sehr gut nach Kaffee und zweitens bemerkt man auch den Pilzgeschmack, aber sehr dezent. Wir (mein Partner und ich) sind beide Kaffee Liebhaber und lieben auch die Pilze die im Kaffee enthalten sind. Ich kann diesen Kaffee sehr empfehlen.
