Worked fantastic on my 2014 BMW X3. Caution: Use the Twin hook one, the single slide in is not long enough. Also be careful to listen for the "release", I kept trying to screw it lose when it was "already" lose. (my fault) Also as you screw the main bolt in to exert pressure, with your other hand squeeze the hooks together towards center to prevent them from not squeezing all the way in and slipping away. lastly put a few drops of general machine oil on the threads to make them easier to turn. Both the main thread and unscrew the little top one all the way it will reveal another smaller thread that needs oil. Otherwise its hard to twist and you make break something or scratch something or just hurt your hands and fingers. Do all this common sense stuff and its a breeze.

I purchased this puller set specifically to remove the wiper arms from a BMW 7 Series. I was disappointed when I opened the package because one of the tools had obvious rust on the threaded shaft and appeared to have been previously used and returned. I don't know whether Amazon or the seller put a returned item back into circulation, but I wasn't expecting a supposedly new tool to arrive in this condition. That said, the tool itself worked perfectly for what I needed it to do. It took a little maneuvering to get it positioned correctly on the wiper arm, but once in place it pulled the arm free without putting stress on the surrounding components—or, more importantly, the windshield. It allowed me to complete the job easily and safely. For the price, I think this is a very good value and it did exactly what I bought it to do. My only concern is the existing rust and whether it will continue to deteriorate while the tool is stored and affect its usefulness the next time I need it. Overall, I'm happy with the tool's performance. I just wish the item I received had actually arrived in new condition.
