Worked perfectly on 15mm oil pan drain bolt, LIFESAVER
I had a 15mm oil pan drain bolt that would not budge thanks to the local Quick Lube type place. I'm not sure if this was due to being neglantly over-tightened, the red thread locker I found once I finally got it removed or both.. Either way, 3ft breaker bar and my 1/2" impact tha5 will snap studs couldn't get the bolt to budge. Spent half day trying ways to get it out, by then it was getting rounded. Local hardware big boxes didn't have a kit that included 15mm and HF was double the price. Ordered this kit, got it next day and literally had the bolt out in 60 seconds after hammering it on. One thing I really liked about this kit was the option to use 3/8 ratchet or a 6pt wrench (16mm-27mm) on the extractor to remove bolt. I used the two wrench piggyback method for leverage as I was worried that head or internals of my 3/8 ratchets may grenade given how tight the bolt was.

They work!
These extractors work perfectly. I was just about to change the oil in a moped when I found the drain plug was almost rounded off. I tried a #17 wrench and it just slipped. I then tried a magic wrench and then a universal socket. No luck, just kept rounding worse. I had just received this Irisfly set by Amazon so I used the #9 and tapped it on. With a good hard twist of my ratchet the oil plug loosened and came off! I replaced the bad oil plug with a new plug! I told my customer to be more careful with tightening the oil plug in the future! Snug only!

Not the best but will definitely do the job.
For the money this is a solid little set. It's not gonna be on par with an Irwin set but it will do the job. Don't use an impact, use a ratchet and make sure it's set with some taps from a hammer or your ratchet. Go slow and use even force while applying downward pressure and things will go smoothly. If you have larger, hardened bolts on say a subframe, you may want to spend the extra money on something more robust. All in all though, works great.

30 day Warranty for a reason!!!
Used on a 10mm hex 6mm screw and snapped in half using a 3/8 ratchet. 10 months past useless Warranty. Used it on a much larger bolt when originally purchased, 15mm hex, and worked good. Might not want to use the square drive hole, might be better if used with the external hex on the extractor to keep from splitting it. Mn

Did the job.
It took the car oil drain plug that head had been stripped and took it right off. I didn't feel real good about the way it fit, but it worked first try.

Didn’t work for me
I needed to get a stuck lug stud off my car and none of these were able to grip the nearly rounded head. It may work for some people but it did not work for me. (BMWs have lug studs, not lug bolts. So maybe this would work better on a bolt since they tend to be wider? Idk. Ask somebody) I banged the absolute crąp out of my rim just trying to get one to grip the stud just to end up having to go somewhere and have it drilled out. Thank goodness they only charged me $97 to do it bcs the dealership was quoting me $600 to diagnose the problem (I already know the problem, it’s so obvious. Tf?) AND drill it out. Ha! No. I was able to get it drilled out AND replace the rim for less than that. Before the mechanic drilled it out he also tried to use this set and he couldn’t get it to grip either. So… IF this is meant to also work with lug studs maybe mine was already too rounded from repeated attempts to remove it for this to be of any help. It’s also possible that this is no help for lug studs that were over tightened like mine or seized. Either way if you find yourself trying to remove a lug stud or bolt and you can’t get it to grip pls… stop and ask a professional or buy this and try it out before you do more damage than this kit can help. I was able to return this with no hassle even after I used it so you should be able to as well if it doesn’t work out. I didn’t want to leave one star because it may very well work for others, just not for my situation. ⭐️Last note⭐️ When you get your tires done ALWAYS make sure your mechanic knows what the recommended pressure is supposed to be for tightening your bolts or studs. Too many mechanics are just letting a machine do whatever or using an impact driver to overdo it and that’s how you end up with over tightened bolts/studs that you likely won’t even noticed until the next time you change or rotate your tires and by then it could be seized and you’ll have the problem I was having. Save yourself the headache and the money and learn make sure they are over tightening your stuff.

Great product
I was not expecting it to work because I was reading some reviews and a lot of people said they were breaking after 20 foot pounds of torque and they are wrong lol. I had a rounded off bolt on my control arm rusted in really bad and this socket stayed on the bolt and actually the bolt broke that’s how rusted the bolt was I was completely supprised and this is the only kit for cheap I could find that had a 15 mm socket

They work!
I bought this kit to get a stripped flywheel bolt out. I needed to hammer on the 14mm and with impact gun . . Boom! It came off. They work well but I don't feel like they are build for repetitive work. But perfect for the weekend mechanic.
