The zip-bag feels closed, but is not. We live in Texas and my hearing devices are damp, if not wet, every evening when I take them off. My dryer takes a 50g desiccant package but I could not find any available so I hit on the idea of putting five or six of the small packages in the dryer. It worked perfectly. The dryer has a warning dot on the back that turns pink when it is no longer drying. It was pink when I put six of the small packages into the dryer. I added the hearing aids, closed the lid and turned it over. The dot was already blue to indicate that it was drying. Small, easy to handle and a great price. It doesn't get much better than that!
