It was difficult to determine this just from the photos on the website so I was pleasantly surprised when I assembled these and placed my KEF LS-50 speakers on them. Wow! The combination looked great! These stands have a non-nonsense, industrial appearance, which I like. They consist of four vertical square posts which does not convey the overly massive, brutish appearance that some single or double post stands do. My last priority was fit and finish. While these stands do not have precise quality that one would typically get from $500 German or Italian products, the mating surfaces were good enough to not show gaps. Also, the black matte finish was free of any unsightly irregularities. Maybe I was just lucky. Nonetheless, I am a happy camper! And I am not an easy person to satisfy. If you don't feel the need to splurge on a set of designer-style stands costing $500 (or more), these stands are a good alternative. They provide good support for speakers without interfering with the sound quality, look good and are very affordable. I highly recommend them. (Note the seller, Monoprice, offers other stands which do not appear to be as sturdy or as esthetically attractive as the Monoliths, so buyer beware).

**Q: What are the dimensions of the top and bottom platform? Nobody will know if these are suitable stands if you do not provide this information.**
A: Top: 8.5 x 6 inches
Bottom: 12 x 9.5 inches

**Q: Is there a way to thread the speaker cable from the floor through the stand and exit at the top to connect the speaker?**
A: No, but if you're good with a drill and really good threading needles you could make it happen. Or you can just use black cable ties on the back uprights to conceal your cable.

**Q: Are they 32" or 24"? The description has two different heights. Is there cord management in the supports? Do they come with rubber feet for tile floor**
A: The stand is 32" tall.  I apologize for the confusion

**Q: what is the thread size of the spikes?  I plan to replace them with furniture leveling feet to protect my floors.  Not interested in protective cups.**

This speaker stands were made in Taiwan, and it was nicely made, fit together easily, Very strong and stable, filled the pillars with sand or gravel will make it even more stable and less “ringing” from the pillar. One suggestion, give customer an option on the top plate sizes, maybe including two difference size top plates will be great! One more…please make it easier for buyer to understand this listing is for a single stand to avoid unnecessary surprise!
