A great company and a wonderful product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Looks great, performs as promised, and water tastes great *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2015* This purchase was the result of a home visit from a Culligan salesman, which after careful questioning resulted in my being asked to pay 6K for a whole house filter. I felt that was way to much to pay to have clean toilet water, so I started looking for other solutions. In searching the internet I learned about ionized water, and found that Life Ionizers is the longest most reliable maker of ionizers. I had a bit of a time installing the under counter unit as their instructions were not complete, and the supplied diverter valve is made somewhere that doesn't use the same inner diameter as US faucet supply lines. The saving grace was that the videos on lifeionizers.com filled in the gap where the instruction fell short, and sanding a hard plastic supply line to fit inside the diverter valve allowed for a successful installation.I followed the instructions, and verified that the pH of the water was indeed affected by the various output settings as shown. The range of pH I showed is hard to exactly measure due to the color matching process, but I would say that I can get at least pH of 10 on the alkaline side of the system. I have been very pleased with the fact that I can dial in the type of water that I want, and I especially like the under counter installation. The spigot is simple to operate, and although I do waste about 1/2 of the water from the tap I have been very pleased with the taste. I don't have any observations about the effects, but I can say that it appears that Live Ionizers have met their part of the equation by a system that works as they promised.
