He loves them. It helps to make his meat processing easier. Review: Great blade and works with various knives! - These work perfectly in the Gerber knife I bought, and are unbelievably more affordable than buying the brand-specific blades they recommended. It is my go-to skinning tool for taxidermy, and it's so much easier to toss and replace a blade than to stop and sharpen a knife. These are high quality, durable, and very sharp (as hoped). Other sellers wanted as much as $1/blade... This is your best buy, hands down. ## Features - Havalon ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00D79EODK | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #119,581 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #230 in Knife Blades #318 in Camping Folding Knives | | Blade Edge | Compound Bevel | | Blade Length | 3.25 inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Spear Point | | Blade Type | Hollow edge | | Brand | Havalon | | Brand Name | Havalon | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 905 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Stainless Steel | | Included Components | Replacement Blades | | Item Length | 3.25 inches | | Item Weight | 10.88 ounces | | Manufacturer | Havalon | | Model Name | SS60XT | | Model Number | SS60XT | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | SS60XT | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Hunting, Skinning | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 3.3" | | Special Feature | Rust Resistant | | Special Features | Rust Resistant | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 024146319918 097914399078 | | Unit Count | 100 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Length:** 3.25 Inches - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Havalon - **Handle Material:** Stainless Steel - **Included Components:** Replacement Blades - **Model Name:** SS60XT - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Hunting, Skinning - **Special Feature:** Rust Resistant - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![Havalon #60XT Stainless Steel Bulk Replacement Blades, 100 count - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/410HuCHFjtL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what is the differance between the 60xt and 60a blades?** A: The 60 xt is thinner..its sharper, but breaks much easier than the 60a...in my experience I like the 60a better.. **Q: Does these blades fit the Gerber vital** A: That is in correct I have the vital and you have to have the correct blades for it These blades are for the havalon ONLY.. yes they will go on but will not lock and the result is stitches...i know **Q: Are the 60xt thicker than 60A blades?** A: no, the 60xt are thinner than the 60a blades **Q: What is the length of the blade** A: The cutting edge of the blade is 2-3/8".
