1stアルバムを聴いた時感動し、しばらくそればかり聴いてました。2ndアルバムは、正直ちょっと物足りない感じがしました。今回もCHVRCHESらしさは変わらず、1stアルバムの時のように震えるほどの名曲ぞろいです。捨て曲がまったくありません。また、しばらくCHVRCHES中毒の日々が続きそうです。

CHVRCESの3枚目のアルバム。前作はやや曲が小粒になった感はあったけれど、踏み外さない正しい方向で次の一歩を踏みだした作品で、その意味で1stから2ndは正常進化だったと思う。2ndから本作への変化のほうがずっと大きく、確信的によりポップにしているように感じられる。そこかしこに彼女たちらしい陰のある感触は残しつつ、よりポップに、より強靭に変化することを選んだ素晴らしい3枚目だと思う。次作でさらに変化したとしても、元の路線への揺り戻しが来たとしても、あの３枚目があってこそだときっと肯定的に思えるような気がする。

重低音とドラムが好きな方はいいかも。うるさくなりすぎない基本スローテンポ。テクノポップな高音ボーカルの声と可愛らしい歌詞。
