**Q: Can I work in the sink without the water turning on? (For example, I season whole chickens in the sink before grilling them)**
A: There are apparently two versions of this faucet - an older one with a black controller, and a newer one with a gray controller and a water temp dial on it.
I think the directions for disabling the sensors are different. I have an older one, and the instructions to turn on the water and hold your hands over BOTH sensors for 5 seconds just worked for me.
The new one's instructions say to turn on the water and hold your hand over only the top sensor. That doesn't work on the old one.

**Q: Ready sensor doesn't turn on when the hand is directly under the faucet.  only when hand is directly in front of the led indicator. why?**
A: When the plumber originally installed my faucet I had the same problem. I then read the information and it suggested to reset the faucet. What needs to be done is to disconnect the faucet from the power (either battery or electric). Then wait for a minute. Then MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS NO OBSTRUCTION IN FRONT OF THE LED. Next, connect the power AND MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF THE LED OR ANY OBSTRUCTION IN FRONT OF IT TILL THE RESET COMPLETES. The reset will take a minute or two. I even keep my head down away from the faucet till the reset has stopped. Once done, the sensor will operate as expected. Hope this helps

**Q: Is it 24.8 tall when mounted? Sounds very high...!**
A: As others have said, the top of the arc is 15.5-16" from surface its mounted to.

**Q: Does this have the widespread faucet configuration as your guide mentions for installing in a quartz countertop?**
A: We just installed one in a granite countertop with no issues. Our countertop is 1.5 inches thick.

The faucet looks good, is easy to use, and was easy to install, I have the code minimum water pressure in my home of 40 psi and while the flow isn't what I would prefer, it is pretty standard for today's low flow faucets. The faucet should come standard with the optional AC power supply (which is ridiculously overpriced) for a simple wall wart a few LEDS and connector to the battery pack. Only negative is that one time the faucet started turning on and off by itself (no one nearby). I moved a plastic container that is used for sponges a few inches farther away from the sensor and the problem resolved (at least for now) Note to Moen - I replaced the previous Moen faucet with this one because one of the non repairable supply hoses leaked. Your lifetime warranty is great and I've used it in the past for cartridges and filters, but I had to buy a new faucet to replace the old one which still looked great after 10 years because the cold water stainless steel flexible supply hose leaked and it can not be removed and replaced.
