Review: Manfrotto compatible quick release platform - Used on my Manfrotto monopod (681b). Simple installation, just screw the platform onto the top of the monopod and you've got a quick release platform making it quick and easy to remove your camera from it's monopod/tripod. It's compatible with my existing Manfrotto quick release plate and gives a sturdy, stable base for your camera. Although I've yet to use it in the field it feels solid and secure. Easy to switch between hand held and mounted camera without screwing/unscrewing the camera and missing your shot!

Used on my Manfrotto monopod (681b). Simple installation, just screw the platform onto the top of the monopod and you've got a quick release platform making it quick and easy to remove your camera from it's monopod/tripod. It's compatible with my existing Manfrotto quick release plate and gives a sturdy, stable base for your camera. Although I've yet to use it in the field it feels solid and secure. Hoped to use with my existing tripod and monopod and the heads that came with them, but the plate is fixed on both heads and cannot be removed, therefore had to return the UTEBIT for a refund. The item is well made and works as expected, but I suggest you check your existing head(s) before placing an order.
