Considering the low price it was a good value. It will spill at the top if you tilt it too much. The idea is to slowly tilt it so that the water barely comes out. I think rubber or silicone should be added to the handle to minimize the transfer of heat. It does get hot. I used a towel to hold it. The kettle does have markings on the inside in ML. I ended up using 200ml then another 100ml for my Thai coffee drip. It was packaged well in a box and bubble wrap. I recommend hand wash only so the markings don't rub off and I would use only with water. It would be too difficult to clean the spout with any other fluid (ie hot milk).
