I find it to hold the wrist absolutely rigid, and that it is easy to put on and off, but that it is a bit tight at the base of the thumb, with long straps that are hard to remove.The straps are very long; it was a bit cumbersome to pull them on the first time. But I found out when I removed them that the length has a purpose - when you take it off, there is enough strap that it remains in place. Also, the long straps hold more solidly than others I've tried.One thing I really like is that it is very easy to slip on and off (once the straps are released). I have an excellent brace that is very had to get on and off - I've actually hurt my wrist removing it. No such problems here!It works like a cast in its primary purpose of holding the wrist in place. It has two rigid bracing strips running length-wise on the top of the wrist, and a single strip on the bottom. This is by far the most rigid brace I've tried.One important note about comfort. When you put the Brace on, rotate the thumb hole towards the palm of your hand - the hole will move to the right when you tighten the strap that goes over your hand. (this is for a right handed brace obviously)I like that the fabric is resistant to odor. I have a Mueller brace that I like, but it has to be laundered weekly. So far I haven't had any smell problems with this one.Drawbacks:There are a couple of things to note: First, the thumb hole is a bit small for a large hand. I've been using it for several days, and while it works, I do constantly feel the presence of the ribbing around the thumb. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it long term. I would have preferred a couple of sizes to be available rather than "one size fits all". Second, those very long straps take a bit of effort to remove - they really grip.Summary: A great brace it you want a lot of support - probably best for medium hands. Recommended. ### ⭐ Coming apart after a week *by M***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2018* Metal splint is already coming out of the product. The stitches are unraveling at a fast rate. Have only wore for less than a week. NOT designed for women with small wrists. Needs tightened the entire way and then the side metal splints don’t sit where they should. Good idea but overall bad product.
