Until we have the process ready for mass production we are happy to make the customers order legless. All the customer has to do is email us requesting their order be legless along with the order number. **Q: I'm still waiting for the black model which the January 2016 answer said would be coming in about a month. Is the issue still in the works?** A: Short answer is YES! Finding an injection mold company with a 1000 ton press has turned out to be much harder than we ever anticipated. For years our product has been made 2 miles away from our warehouse. With that manufacturer going out of business we were forced to look elsewhere. Elsewhere is now 100 miles away. Just this week our 2 molds were relocated to the new manufacturer. Now we are waiting to hear when production will start. We have been told it will be in the next 2-4 weeks. That is for the Black legless model with the Black w/legs to follow. As soon as we are within 30 days of having a particular product we will again list it on Amazon.com. Thanks so much for your patience. **Q: I have a cook top stove, will this fit over the knobs?** A: The 6 little feet on the bottom of the cook top are approximately 1 1/2 inches in height. If the knobs on your stove are on the surface of the stove, you should measure their height. If the knobs aren't taller than 1 1/2 inches, they should clear the bottom of the cook top. My stove has the knobs on the top of the stove at the back so there is no issue with this type of knobs. I hope this helps. **Q: My stove is a GE Profile, PGP943, 30 inch gas cooktop. Will this cover work?** A: my stove is an elex Magic Chef 30" x 20". The outside/interior legs are approx 27" x 17". 3 rows of 3, 1" legs to hold it above the burners. you will need to be careful to keep the burners on off while the top is on. it is heavy duty plastic but i think gas fire under it would melt it. I love mine and have never regretted buying it. If you think you will like it go ahead and order it, make sure to keep the packing in good condition until after you have set it on your GE and decided if it is what you want. If not return it. Shipping costs were almost $15, but the shipping was fast, my item was delivered unbroken.....and it was from inside the USA. Win, win, win. I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't bother to wrap the item....nope, just shoved it in the box. .......no plastic bag, no bubble wrap.....nothing. But, as previously stated, the item arrived unbroken.This is a perfect fit for my glass top stove. I really bought it to protect the glass top from scratches and such. ......it could double as a serving tray during football season. ......buffalo dip, and the fixin's for the guys. I stepped back to admire my new purchase and I thought to myself "This sucker bows in the middle." .....I was unhappy. ....but I have a level and I know how to use it. IT DOES NOT BOW....it is perfectly level. ....must be an optical illusion.Bottom line: I am happy with my purchase. There are 9 rubber feet on the bottom (3 on the left, 3 on the right, 3 in the middle)....which raises the unit approximately 2 inches off the stove. I do wish they had offered TWO model choices.......one for flat glass tops, that just sits on the stove, with little rubber feet - and the one I have. This model is great for someone with electric burners OR grates on the oven. .....people who NEED the product to be raised.At the end of the day it is a GOOD value, and a GOOD purchase. My use for this is a little different than normal. I do not use my stove AT ALL during the summer months - all of our cooking is done on our outdoor grill which helps to keep our house cooler. Unfortunately, even without using it, I have to clean the stove every couple of weeks because of dust accumulation. Everything I looked at was either too small to cover the entire stove, too flimsy to set anything on top of it or was too weird looking for kitchen use. The only thing that kept me from ordering this product is that I felt the legs made it too tall and would still allow dust to settle under it. I give this company 5 stars for their customer service as well - I saw that they removed the legs for another reviewer and asked if they could do the same thing for me. They did so without any additional cost saving me time, money and the aggravation of having to do it myself. This cover is great and I am hoping that it will cut down tremendously on dust accumulation but only time will tell. I do agree with other reviewers - too bad it doesn't have like a silicone coating on both sides to withstand heat but obviously that would be a different product with a higher price to match (still - I would buy one). I bring in hot pans from cooking outside on the grill and I used to just plop them down on the grates on my stove. I have found a solution though - I just put silicone potholders on top of MCS when I'm cooking so that I can still use the stove for these things. Glad to find this product and thrilled it's Made in the USA!9/16/13 Update: Well, I removed the MCS board yesterday for the winter season and I can report that it does cut down A LOT on dust. There WAS dust all around the outside edges of the stove top but I did expect that since there isn't a seal or anything along the edges. There wasn't, however, any dust at all in the middle part of the stove nor on the burners and grates. So I can say that this product definitely makes a great stove "dust cover". ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Has center feet that make it wobbly *by P***U on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2013* My review is reporting exactly what Alicia V reported in her review of this over the stove countertop. That is, that what the description of this product fails to tell you is that it has six little pegs on it to elevate it over the stove, including four corner pegs and two outter pegs in the center of this item. Although it is the right overall size for my stove, its two center pegs interfere with the burners on my stove preventing this over the stove countertop from laying flat and evenly. This means that when i set this cover on my stove it is wobbly and not secure. As Alicia V said, if this item only had four pegs at each corner it would fit the stove perfectly and not interfere with the burners, which would mean that it would lay flat and evenly on the stove which would make it be fully functional without being wobbly.So, it looks like Alica V and I are stuck trying to use this over the stove countertop to prepare food while it wobbles and slips around our stove because the center legs hit the burners preventing it from laying flat. Because this instability makes it such a hassle to use, I never use it and it just takes up space in my small apartment. This is unfortunate because it would be such a wonderful product if those center pegs were removed from the product allowing it to lay flat on the stove.The construction of this countertop is otherwise great. It is made of thick, sturdy pastic and it seems like it will last for years. The size of it covers the stove perfectly and it has an attractive design. I also like that it has two handles for easy handling and you can even carry food on it like a tray with the handles.It kills me that this product could be so great but for those center pegs that cause the product to lay on the stove such that it is wobbly, unstable and mostly unusable. The reason that I am still giving it at least a 3 star rating is that I have been meaning to saw off the center pegs to see how the product would work without them. If this is a solution then I will edit this review and bump the rating up to five stars.
