After having it for a few days and sleeping under it with no duvet cover or other blankets on top, just a top sheet and the comforter, I can say the All-Season option has been absolutely perfect for my needs and straight up exceeded my expectations. I live in Southern Oregon and currently it's the beginning of Fall where it's starting to get down to between 30-40f degrees outside. I historically have been a warmer sleeper, so I crack the window about 6" and let my bedroom get down to the mid 50's. I like it cold! This comforter keeps me warm and comfortable from the second I get in bed to the minute I wake up. It's actually been getting harder to get out of bed the last few days! Construction is well done. The stitching appears to be of good quality and I wouldn't worry about it coming undone or finding loose threads any time soon. The fabric is what you'd expect for typical feather down comforters; it's your average FDC softness and is nice and cool to the touch when it first comes in contact with you, and then by the time you get comfortable in bed you are nice and warm but still have that cooler feeling outside of you. Which is great so you dont feel like you're baking. Some people dont like the crinkly sound you find most FDCs make. Personally I love it. Makes me know I am being covered by something big and heavy and substantial. As far as "floofyness" goes, I personally find it to be just right. It's not over the top to the point you might find yourself trying to dig out of the blanket in order not to suffocate, and it's not so thin that you might want an additional blanket on top of it for added that added sense of being completely and adequately surrounded by enough covering. (Which I have ALWAYS found with down alternative comforters, they're never weight heavy enough and then I end up putting another thinner blanket on top and ultimately end up either way too hot or annoyed because blankets keep getting shifted around.) I ordered the Queen size for my Full size bed. (In case you didnt know, compared to a Full, A Queen is a few inches wider than a Full.) If it says hypoallergenic it means the feathers/down were hyper cleaned over and over until the mixture was void of dust/dirt/ dander. I believe this is what they mean. **Q: is this machine washable?** A: Technically, you can, but I wouldn't recommend unless you have a tumbler washer, then dry in the sun. I never washed mine. You're supposed to put it in a duvet cover, but people use these like actual comforters. A duvet cover is what you wash. The duvet itself should be dry cleaned (like, if you actually spill something on it and cant spot clean), but I would just put mine outside in the sun once a month. I’ve been looking for something that feels like a nice hotel comforter as my first duvet insert (I usually just use comforters) and while I’ve only just opened this today, I am in love. It’s not tremendously fluffy as you can tell by other reviewer’s pictures, but fluffy enough (and fluffier than a normal comforter anyway)! I actually wanted a comforter that made noise when moving and this definitely does. Most importantly I have it sitting on top of me right now— in the middle of summer— with my ceiling fan on medium and am so comfortable. I recently ordered a down alternative insert and even though it was advertised as lightweight it did NOT feel the part and I was overheating within 30 seconds of it sitting on my legs. This one is lightweight, but still sinks over your body; you don’t get hot, but it doesn’t FEEL physically light and airy like any normal comforter. Not sure how this will perform in the winter by itself, but either way I love love love this insert! The outside shell isn’t super soft to the touch, though this may improve with each wash.
