You can use one, two or three bands, and it gives you a resistance range from 45 lbs to 165 lbs. I prefer to use the door anchor and sit on a foam cushion on the floor. I've used a rowing machine at the gym many times, and this almost the same workout. And it takes up very little room while in storage.
