If you have an F1 based flight controller you need to use older versions of the firmware. These are still available and Google will find them. When I complained to the seller he offered to send me a free replacement F3 based flight controller. He did not need to do that. It was my fault for not noticing the "F103" in the description, but still he sent a replacement. I would buy from this seller again. Now back to the product The Naze 32 10DOF is exactly as described. This 10DOF variant has a compass and altimeter installed and the Naze32 has been around long enough that MANY people in the on-line forums know how to use this and can offer advice. It uses the STM32F103 processor. I have tested this all in flight using a 5 inch FPV drone. It works well and does what you'd expect from a F1 based 10DOF controller. I was able to load Cleanflight 1.14.xx (but not later versions) onto this flight controller. The replacement flight controller (they sent me an "SP Racing F3 Acro" type) also works well but is different. The newer firmware allows easier PID tuning and is better for FPV racing while the 10 DOF type is better for photography and general use. Easy to use. *by S***E on April 23, 2019* I am currently taking a Mechanical Engineering elective in which we have to build a drone. It might have been bad luck, but the first flight controller we purchased was absolute garbage (beware the betaflight f4). Purchased this one to replace it. This flight controller comes with the servo header pins in both straight and right angle configurations, which was nice and made it easy to run wires for the quadcopter and keep them clean. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!!!! This board does NOT have a built in PDB and CANNOT handle and 11V input. We were not paying attention to this and soldered the power wires to the 11V output of the PDB and fried the board instantly. Thankfully it did not damage anything else. We had to order a second flight controller, and this time we paid attention to our voltages and polarity and the installation went smoothly. When setting up the flight controller we used the cleanflight software and it worked well. I hear that Betaflight software will also work, but I can only vouch for cleanflight. We have been able to get the flight controller to receive PWM inputs from our Spektrum AR620 and tested the quadcopter and it seems to be functioning properly thus far.
