Got to see what Stefan or Daman come up with and how they ------- Oops think I leave that blank for now. These first 2 have been super good, fun reads. Imagine 4 guys, closer then most brothers, go out for a night of loving and pleasuring the women (in a gypsy camp no less, didn't say they were a super intelligent bunch, thinking with the wrong equipment again?, oh dear) & they end up in a world of hurt. Dam! How would you feel thrown almost 200 years into the future? But then these are highland warriors. When the guy finally gets let out of his dark prison it's a good thing that kilts are still the fashion of the day cuz that's all he's got to wear. Thank the powers that be it stayed clean (pretty much) thru his years of captivity.Please don't get me wrong I love these novellas. I liked the characters, the storylines and the dialogue. "The Hunger" is only 106 pages and Donna did an excellent job of filling all those pages and getting her story told. There are times I truly enjoy something lite and quick. Donna Grant has brought us the second Rogue of Scotland of her new series, we met the Highlander Morcant in the first installment, where he and his three friends go to the gypsy camp and what they thought was going to be a night of fun turn into their punishment, cursed in a place of pure darkness Morcant is tortured with the unknown whereaboutS of his friends, and the unending need for pleasure. Morcant has to redeem himself and find his friends, Morcant also finds himself torn between his wants and his need when the lovely Leana locates him some centuries after the gypsy cursed him.What started out trying to regain his sword back turns into something Morcant simply can't walk away from.Leana lives a life of a recluse for fear of another person leaving her, but can she keep her heart closed to the alluring highlander she found in the forest, one she saw in the darkness, or will he be her undoing and show her he isn't going anywhere.This story was just the right fix for my historical highlander craving, Donna Grant knows how to keep us intrigued and wanting more.
