Great boots - easy on and off, secure rear velcro flaps and durable
Great quality hoof boots and very easy to put on and take off. I really like the fact that all the closures are on the rear of the boot vs on the front. I think this keeps the fasteners in tact even through mud, water, debris. The whole rear of the boot opens up to allow the hoof to slide right in. Then drop hoof and put the velcro flaps in place and then tighten and secure velcro strap. I also use some Gold Bond regular powder, both in the rear section of the boot as well as on the horse's bulb area for easy on as well as protection from any chaffing. I also like the soft trim around the top of boot which seems much more comfortable for the pastern area. Easy to clean - I just hose/rub them off after a mudding outing.

Only used once so far, worked good, no rub yet, rode hour or so...worked great over rocks....horse seemed to like them more as we rode and he got used to them...

Horse hoof trail boot.
Excellent boot! Good fit, and my horse is able to trot and canter in them. Be sure to order the correct size.

Not the same boot pictured
I got a size 4 the first time and they were exactly what was pictured and work great. This time I ordered a size 3 for a different horse. The boots fit alright but not at all the same boots pictured. They look like the backcountry boots but not labeled as such. The Velcro just doesn’t stay tight like I can get the others
