That one worked flawlessly, which made me think that I had just gotten a lemon. Recently, the company messaged me through desertcart. They did not ask me to change my review but, instead, asked for more details about my experience. After I replied they messaged me back the next day saying they really appreciated my specific feedback so that they could follow up on this and make sure that this was not an ongoing problem. I was impressed by their sincerity, and they fact that they did not try to ask me to change the review or give their product another try. Looking back at this, I realize that if I hadn't been in so much pain at the time, I would have contacted the company and they would have replaced it right away and made it right. I pulled it off and discovered that the bottom velcro strip is disintegrating. it is pulling away from the fabric and little, sharp pieces of velcro are flaking off. (There were more than what is shown in the photo.) This is what was piercing my skin through my shirt! I am so disappointed because I fractured my back 12 days ago and this has helped so much with the pain. But I'm worried that if I just order a replacement, the same thing will happen. They are great and we love that they come with 2 gel packs so there is always one in the freezer. Only had one gel pack explode/ break open. We never heat them, we only use it for cold therapy so not sure what happend with that one but the others have worked fine.
