The only thing ridiculous is the EASE of installing it. After installation, I ran my air conditioner exhaust hose to the outside through the zipper hole. I turned the A/C on and let ‘er rip! The hinge side of the window doesn't need to be opened that far since the fabric is wide enough to handle putting out the duct and the window itself will seal the heat and bugs from entering. Thanks, Airly! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well even for sliding windows and doors *by K***. on July 26, 2019* I have given a portable a/c unit without the window installation kit parts and noticed they are super expensive to replace. I found this and tried it out - it does the job pretty well! Well worth the $11. Easy to install, (I just rolled in the ends that are too long for my sliding door and window) and there was plenty of the adhesive velcro for both my window upstairs and the glass sliding door downstairs, so I can switch them out as needed. As for the durability, I've only noticed the adhesive velcro peeling off at the ends when I first put it on the window, but it's holding up so far when I pushed it back on. I'm also happy that the zippers stay in place really well around the hose so there's minimal air leakage.
