Angling the light down slightly, stopped the traffic on the road switching the light on . I'm quite happy with the purchase the light gives good illumination. It's a 'cool white' which, in practice, means white rather than the usual yellow tinge. The timing instructions are completely wrong. They state something like 15 seconds to 4 minutes so you turn the dial half way expecting about two minutes and once triggered the light stays on for about fifteen minutes. My old light had a manual override which meant that when using an internal light switch - to switch it on and leave it on, you simply switched the light switch to the on position.
