We want the wind speed not the fan speed, ideally, and meters that advertise several updates per second, well its not use at low speeds if the fan itself does not react to the wind, if its spins for 3 seconds or so when it should be reading zero. It could have a negative positive indicator for the fan rotation or wind direction, this would help to detect turbulence since this thing is good is light flows.
