Premium design at a budget price *by ◀***� on 16 August 2023* The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a reasonable quality android tablet but on a budget when I came across this Higrace 10 inch tablet with Android 13 installed. It ticked all the boxes for me; android 13, HD screen, quad core processor and 8gb ram (4gb + 4gb extended).I wasn't expecting much for the sub-£100 price tag, however I must admit that I'm actually really impressed with it. You'd expect to pay over 3 to 4 times as much for something of this spec from a well known manufacturer, yet the quality of this is just as good as it does everything you need for an android tablet.This will primarily be used for watching videos, etc when we're on holiday or whilst the wife is watching TV and I want to watch one of my own programmes. It works with all media services, with android TV taking charge of everything, in a similar way to your TV works.Setup, as my video shows, is very straight forward. I connected my phone to it via a usb-c to usb-c cable that I have at home and it reinstalled all the chosen apps from my phone, synced a lot of data and had it up and running for me in a really short time.The screen is good quality and viewable from all angles in HD. The colours are bright and the image clear. There's no lag either when watching movies.The touch sensitivity is really responsive. Again, no lag or delay of any kind. You can switch between apps easily and everything I use on my premium branded phone works perfectly on this.This is packaged securely with protective screen covers and packaging fitted. Unfortunately there's no screen protector, but most 10 inch ones should fit.The camera is fairly good for a budget tablet. Images taken are certainly nothing to complain about, even in lower light.You can also turn on swipe gestures in settings, as is used on newer android phones. I prefer this over the old button controls.Overall, I can't really find any fault with this. It's an excellent quality tablet, very thin for a budget tablet and has a premium look and feel about it. I can certainly recommend this. With a 5000mAh battery built in too, it's perfect for my needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than I was expecting. *by N***T on 28 September 2024* I wasn't expecting much for the price but all I really wanted this for was making music. This successfuly connected to my bluetooth midi controler / OTG and is doing an excellent job (older android devices I have struggle with this task). I am not disappointed.I am not a tech expert and I don't play games but here is my overall review -I tried the camera in low light and though stuggling to focus (low light) it did a decent job. It's very good in normal / bright light AND it is very good at close-ups. The volume is not great but clear and adequet in a quiet environment. The screen is bright, clear and very responsive, great for watching my YT or movies while eating supper. Storage again is not great but this will take a TF / micro SD card up to 1TB. The Andoid version (14) it comes with is not bloated with useless apps or ads and is very intuitive to use. An finally battery life, this is quite good but as always, dependant on apps / BT on or off etc.My Summary - It's not in the league of the big boys but WOW, for the price, just Wow! I would not be able to buy a used premium brand tablet that can do what this does for the money.Pros - Price, screen (all aspects), build quality, clean Android OS.Cons - Volume could be louder, NO 3.5mm audio jack (you need a USB-C to Audio jack adapter.I have given this tablet 5 stars as it performs adequetly for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a Flagship Tablet, But Does the Job *by A***F on 26 February 2024* I bought this with my 9 years old kid in mind. He uses my old iPad, which needs replacement, and I thought I'd bring him something more suitable for his needs.This one is a capable tablet, in my opinion, but my kid still prefers the old iPad for certain applications.The screen brightness and volume could perhaps do better, but they are good enough once one gets used to them. So, with a headphone, a Netflix experience still feels good and, with the large storage, one could download movies on the go.The main issue for my kid was certain games, where he noticed some lag. It could be that the processing power isn't that huge, but could also mean incompatibility with some online gaming platforms, I think.Still, for all sorts of purposes, the tablet does the job and looks neat.I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars with my kid's experience in mind.
