Window Cleaning Robot
I used this once right after getting it, and I was honestly surprised by how well it worked. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you need until you try it, especially if you have big windows or spots that are annoying to reach. Setup was quick and simple, nothing complicated. I just got it going and let it do its thing. My windows had some dust and smudges, and it cleaned them up way better than I expected. It didn’t leave streaks, which is usually the most annoying part when you do it by hand. The spray feature actually helps a lot too. It doesn’t dump too much water, just enough to clean without making a mess. I also liked that it keeps charging while it’s working, so you don’t have to worry about it stopping halfway through if you’re doing multiple windows. At first I was a little unsure about using it on higher windows, but it sticks really well and feels secure. After watching it for a bit, I wasn’t worried anymore. Overall, it just makes life easier. No dragging out supplies or spending a bunch of time cleaning glass. Definitely worth it if you’ve got bigger windows or just don’t feel like doing it yourself.

Spidey powers, amazing results, does mirrors too
Wow! Great job. I have had this for about 18 hours and so far, it exceeds my expectations. Long review for those seeking more info about this great product, but hesitating. I own robot vacs, so not new to the experience. But because of those, I hesitated on getting one of these. The vac bots do well (not ecovacs, yet....) but have become very complicated and needy. Not the case with this bot. It and its app are quick to start to work, and simple to use! Set up the app first, it's quick. I have a 2 story home with over 25 windows. Some on 1st floor are nearly floor to ceiling. Takes a ladder to clean most- even inside. With bad knees, ladders aren't our friend - so I called a pro for an estimate- over $600 (inside & out). Nope, do it ourselves. This was a prime days deal, so with extra pads and ecovacs solution I was in at a little more than $500, beating the cost of a pro for one trip, but bot can do many more over it's 3-6 year life. It does a great job inside, though this larger bot can't do every window- some I'll still have to handle, but not enough for me to look at the smaller bot yet. Outside, fantastic cleaning, streaked one window because I didn't follow instructions and clean pad after each window, and mine were dusty. Fixed that by having a warm water/dawn solution in a small bucket followed by quick rinse. Inside, pad cleaning wasn't needed but about every 3-4 windows. It's about as loud as a vacuum on high power, so you won't want to use it in same room and try to watch TV. 😉 You also won't get to leave it for long - it's too fast for that. Cleaned my large windows on quick clean in about 4 min - on thorough same ones in about 6-7. Pros- no need for ladders -as long as you can reach the bottom part of a window well, simple setup and app, economically feasible over pros - comparable to self if using distilled water instead of solution - but less mess and work. Cons-this larger bot won't get my traditional mutton panes well, nor tiny windows (did still get two smaller ones, so check your window sizes compared to the bot size) - & look at the mini if you hav mostly very small windows. Docking station is a bit heavy, about 19 lbs, so moving the bot and station may be tough for some. Once in place, the bot itself is only about 3 lbs and has a handle. The back storage - and cleaner storage are convenient, but the back compartment is a little difficult for me to open- probably a me thing, but it is a little tough to pull out. And the door has to stay down if charging from the wall, I haven't seen a cord exit (notch to let the cords out while back door is up) making it less easy to move about, and a larger floor footprint while charging. To know- it pulls the cord out it needs from the dock, but the dock will need to be nearby. The bot isn't independent of it. But the dock can be charged so working with outside windows away from power is still possible. The cord easily retracts with a push of button to remove trip issues. Update, be sure to install app first. It works without, but you have more control with. Bot got stuck on door handles (glass door) and fought some (and lost some) on window blinds installed inside frame. App helps you watch for these and pause/remote control the robot instead of ending a job. I opted for the W2 pro Omni because it covered most windows and had the dock/portable power. Will look at a mini for future just because of smaller window possibilities and carry weight (not getting younger). Haven't tested upstairs yet, but the bot suction is very firm, so don't expect issues and look forward to clean windows without acrobatics there. Cleans inside and outside without much of a mess. Does have a few tiny drips, so I'd keep a small cloth nearby if you have delicate items (window sill/wood floors). I make more messes using water and a chamois. Outside, we'd have clean windows, but the patio, lawn, etc would be soaked as we sprayed water, climbed, cleaned, sprayed rinse water, repeatedly. Bot is much cleaner! Would recommend as a way to keep windows clean vs waiting for a year or scrambling to spruce up for visitors. The safety instructions say for residential only. I wouldn't hesitate to use on small buildings, but the cord length would stop work on high rises unless you could open the windows nearest the apartment. Overall, I highly recommend this if you have a lot of windows and don't like cleaning from ladders! Even without all my windows available, it will pay for itself in 2x over a pro; and probably about 4x over fancy extend-a-pole solutions (that will still drown your yard below). Perfect, not completely- but as good or better than what I can do - & a lot less work/much safer.

Works as advertised. Paid for itself right away.
Awesome. Greatly exceeded my expectations. For context, I have a rural home on a hill with a lot of large windows. Placing ladders is very tricky. Getting a pro window cleaner has been near impossible. We got one offer for thousands of dollars. I decided to buy this thing. Whoa. Like, I was really impressed. Look- the clean isn't perfect. It leaves some streaks when there is heavy dirt (but less of you change the pads regularly). These usually go away on a second pass. The key here is that you can open a window on an upper floor and place it on the non-opening part of the window- no ladders. The app is a piece of cake to set up. We have clean windows for the first time in years after a weekend of "work" moving the robot around from window to window. I rarely review stuff, but this window robot SIGNIFICANTLY exceeded my hopes. A great purchase.

There’s no magic machine for steak free clean windows.
Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to get clean windows. Ecovac is a novel idea, but after several tries, I still cannot get streak, free windows. I tried all their suggestions. I’ve gone on the Web to look at what other people have done and still no luck. There are a lot of people with the same problem. The windows look great until the sun shines and then all you see is streaks from the pad. I think it has more to do with outside environmental factors. Even the slightest breeze can cause the solution to dry and create streaks. There is some success when using it inside the house but outside it’s just a big waste of time. You end up having to clean them the old-fashioned way. Unfortunately when I received my Ecovac, I was unable to use it again with their suggested because the weather turned so humid that I could not use the machine properly. Once the weather broke, my return window closed so I’m stuck with the machine that makes your windows really streaky. If you purchase an Ecovac and you don’t get results that you like immediately, take advantage of your return window and get your money back.

Cleans well, but sprayers frequently clog.
I’ve had this cleaner for a year now, so I think I can write a fairly comprehensive review. At the summary level, the cleaning quality is good. The microfiber cleaning cloths are pretty much streak-free and work well in tandem with the sprayers. But… Even when the spray system works, the spray pattern is sufficiently wide to where the machine bypasses some of the spray, which then leaves unsightly marks on the glass. The fix is easy, though hokey: start an edge cleaning after completing the cleaning cycle. The worst issue by far is that the spray system clogs if you store it more than a couple of weeks. Ecovacs’ advice for how to clean it is laughable: wipe the exterior of the nozzles with a soft cloth and if that doesn’t work, try to clean the nozzle with a pin. Really? Clean a micro nozzle with a pin? This is a well-known issue and the blogs cover it at length. The fix, such as it is, is to flush the reservoir with fresh water to remove any trace of cleaning fluid. And then - this is the key part - add some unflavored carbonated water to the reservoir and close the plug. The carbonic acid will not only clear any remaining scale, but the light pressure will force some of the water through the sprayers to ensure they’re clean. So. Cleans well enough. Sprayer system is ineffective and buggy. Ecovacs treats its customers like sheep.

Great customer service, positive experience.
I actually ended up with the W3 robot. This did what was promised. The windows came out clean and mostly streak free. Only when the light hits in a certain way do you see a few streaks. Not perfect, (5 stars), BUT vastly improved over what the windows looked like before cleaning, better than I can do by myself. The battery has a long life, and the built-in cleaning cloth washer is an improvement over the W2. Customer service was responsive to my concerns and worked with me to achieve a positive experience with my purchase.

Makes Window Cleaning Almost Effortless !
I was honestly skeptical about buying a window-cleaning robot, but this one completely changed my mind. I have several large windows and a glass patio door that are difficult to clean by hand, and this machine saved me a lot of time and effort. The spray system does a great job loosening dust, fingerprints, and outdoor grime, and the finished results were much cleaner than I expected. What impressed me most was how securely it stayed attached to the glass while working. The built-in safety features gave me confidence, especially when cleaning higher windows. I also like the flexibility of being able to use it plugged in or on battery power depending on the location. The multifunction station keeps everything organized and makes setup simple. After using it for a few weeks, my windows look noticeably clearer and I no longer dread cleaning them. It's definitely one of those products that feels like a luxury at first, but once you use it, you wonder how you managed without it. Highly recommended for anyone with large windows, glass doors, or hard-to-reach glass surfaces.

Amazing window cleaning robot! Our robot first!
Just got it out the box and it’s working like a champ! It wasn’t immediately clear if the instructions were to separate the water and solution. Apparently, from a YouTube video, just tap water until it’s filled then adding a few drops of the solution into the same spout. Also, not obvious on unboxing, the wiping pad is in the secondary bin alongside the hidden plug. Each large window takes a few minutes. It’s obviously not as meticulous as a window washer, however, for very dirty windows on the first Thorough Cleaning setting was perfect. Didn’t need to go over windows more than once. At first, we placed the robot too closely wedged to the top right corner of the window. You don’t need to worry about perfect placement but if too wedged, it doesn’t wriggle out easily to the rest of the window. Space it out 1-2” from the frame and it’ll clean the entire surface, no problem. Sounds just like a vacuum and it’s surprisingly compact and the sound chimes are well designed, too. Surprisingly, doesn’t use much water or solution so you really don’t need to refill after a dozen or so windows (I’m estimating?). Right out the box, had enough charge for two large patio windows but then had to find an outlet. The long cord is electrical so as long as you’re plugged in, you can reasonably clean all the windows in your home. Ours came in Saturday morning and by the afternoon, we got through 16 windows inside/outside, out of 66. There are streaks and minor misses, but overall, very minor and only noticeable if you look for them. No odors. Will definitely be using this little robot often! Great value of the cost! The replacement solution doesn’t look to be terribly expensive either given how much I’d anticipate a bottle to last. 5-stars for this new, happy customer!
