## Description

Product Description  Sanada Yukimura was a samurai warrior of the Sengoku Period and was well known as the leading general on the defending side during the Summer Campaign pf the Seige of Osaka (The statue complete with armor, stands 36 cm tall).  Sanada decisively outfought the overwhelming massive army of Tokugawa and therefore distinguished himself as a renowed military commander.  Sanada was known all over Japan as its "best soldier" and was admired, even by his enemies, for his fighting style that encompassed wisdom and bravery. Whilst he lost the battle, he fought to the end with a deep obligation and royalty, and was thus honored as "the paragon of all warriors". The Bussho (Japanese Military Commander) statue is reproduced showing him wearing an elaborate Kacchu (armor and helmet) costume.  Sanada is reposeful as he poses in a state of quiet meditation. This warrior statue is an accurate reproduction based on historical research undertaken by an expert in armor of the Sengoku Period.   We commissioned Mr. Hiromichi Miura, an advisor to The Association for the Research and Preservation of Japanese Helmets and Armor, to research the details of armor used by Yukimura Sanada, a Japanese samurai warrior of the Sengoku period. This resulted in our being able to manufacture a historically accurate and faithful polystone reproduction of Sanada.  Product Information  Limited Manufacture to 50 pcs only/Made in Japan  Net Weight: 5 kg Full Size: W29cm x D39cm x H36.5cm (including the base and spear)  Materials: Polystone, some parts has special polystone used for the high quality, strings, metal, etc.  Attachments: an exclusive box, name stand "真田幸村", serial number (No. 1-50) included in the outer package of the product.
